Your Role:

The Branch Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the warehouse, ensuring proper accounting procedures and controls are in place. The role involves processing financial transactions, reconciling inventory records, and collaborating with the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations.

Your Main Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the warehouse.
• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports related to warehouse activities.
• Assist in reconciling inventory records with physical stock, ensuring accuracy, and identifying discrepancies.
• Monitor and track warehouse expenses, including utilities, maintenance, and supplies.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses.
• Assist in conducting periodic internal audits of financial transactions and procedures.
• Stay updated with accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices applicable to warehouse operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 2-4 years in warehouse accounting or inventory control.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using Odoo or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is preferred.
